What Our Clients Say

We have been planning for many years to visit the Somme on the centenary of my husband's great uncle's death. There are other companies that offer war tours of the Somme, but to find a personalised tour done by an Australian really helped to make the visit everything we hoped it to be. Myriam had researched our relatives war records and was able to take us to the last known location on the night he was killed. She was knowledgable and sensitive to the emotion that such visits can bring. Highly recommended!
-Personal and Professional
My 14-year-old daughter and I had one day to tour the Somme and visit my great-great uncle's grave. Myriam had taken a lot of trouble to tailor the tour to our particular family history (Devonshire regiment), while also giving us a very good overall picture of the battle. She was also great at explaining complicated background to a 14-year-old, and for both of us there was so much detail that we would never have known about without her expertise - many thanks, and highly recommended.
-Fascinating and moving personalised WW1 tour
Myrian was a fantastic guide for our students (Yr 11 & 12) and they had a terrific day learning and just being 'present' in these amazing places. Her stories and explanations were interesting and moving. Can't recommend her work highly enough.
-Kilmore Battlefields Tour
Miriam is an Australian living in France who has an in-depth knowledge of the WW1 battlefields involving Australians and provides a personalised, respectful guide experience. She also speaks fluent French which makes travelling around the area much easier. On this visit, my wife also wanted to explore a little more of the region and Miriam was very accommodating in arranging a day trip to visit the Chateau de La Roche-Guyon and Claude Monet Garden at Giverny. They also stopped at a little provincial French café for lunch. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her day and nothing was too much trouble for Miriam. Would definitely utilise her guide services again.
